Frequently Asked Questions

  • Pricing varies depending on the size and complexity of the area being treated, prices start from £100 per area. To provide an accurate quote, we need to assess the area and evaluate your specific needs. Detailed quotes are available following your consultation.

  • To undergo microneedling, you must be over 18 years of age and not currently pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are susceptible to keloid scarring, microneedling may not be advisable. It may not be appropriate for clients with certain skin conditions, such as active vitiligo, acne or rosacea, or for those who have recently used certain topical medications. A free consultation is available to assess your individual needs and ensure the treatment is suitable for you. This session allows us to answer any questions, discuss your goals and customise a plan tailored to your requirements.

  • Discomfort levels vary depending on the area being treated and individual sensitivity – everyone has different pain thresholds. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild scratching sensation and tolerable for the treatment. Depending on the area, numbing creams can be applied to minimise discomfort during the procedure.

  • Aftercare is essential for optimal results and you will receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure the best outcome. You may experience some swelling or redness for up to 48 hours after your treatment, we recommend keeping the area dry, and to avoid sun exposure, swimming, saunas and harsh skincare products during the healing process.

  • Side effects are usually minimal and may include slight sensitivity, redness or swelling after the procedure for up to 48 hours.

  • We understand that needle anxiety is a common concern, and we’re here to help make the experience as comfortable as possible. To ease your mind, we can guide you through relaxing breathing exercises, show you the needle and machine beforehand if you wish, and even offer a calming massage before your treatment to help you relax. Our goal is to create a supportive and stress-free environment, ensuring you feel at ease every step of the way.

  • Microneedling is never a one treatment process, the number of treatments will depend on your skin, your healing and care of the area. During your consultation, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan and discuss the expected number of sessions based on your goals.
